Another "fine" date.

Zero spark.

You're not looking for another date. You're looking for that feeling — the one where the conversation goes somewhere real, where you forget to check your phone, where something actually ignites.

May 9, 3pm - 5pm @ Mission Yoga, San Francisco. Singles, get in here.

Spark is a two-hour experiential workshop that teaches you what actually creates chemistry — and lets you practice it live, with real people, without the games.

"I left feeling genuinely unlocked. Highly recommend."

That's what happens when you stop performing and start actually showing up. Not a new script. Not a better opening line. Just two hours in a room designed to teach you what creates real charge between people — and let you practice it live.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

You're going on dates.
They're just not going anywhere.

  • You matched, you texted, you showed up. And then spent two hours being perfectly pleasant to someone you'll never see again.

  • You kinda froze. Went flat. Or you over-explained. You laughed a little too fast at everything. You were in your head the entire time.

  • You weren’t sure how to send a signal without it feeling awkward, or how to turn the heat up without it feeling like too much.

  • You left wondering why it felt like a job interview — and whether this is just what dating is now.

Here’s the thing: Presence is a skill. Creating real charge with another person is a skill. Flirting is a skill. And most of us were never taught any of it.

THE REAL PROBLEM

People don't feel your words.
They feel your energy.

Most dating advice starts with the words — what to say, how to open, when to text back. But words are the last layer. What people actually feel is whether you're in the room or in your head.

Nervous energy has a texture. Rushed answers, too much nodding, filling every silence — it signals anxiety, not desire. And desire doesn't move toward anxiety. It moves toward ease.

Being in your head can also look like being bored. Flat. Boring.

The shift from flat to electric isn't about being smoother. It's about being more settled, more present, more genuinely interested — and knowing how to let that land.

"Heather facilitated beautifully, creating an inclusive and safe space. At the end I was sharing stories and belly laughs with people I'd just met."

WHAT HAPPENS INSIDE

Two hours. Real practice.
Actual heat.

This isn't a lecture. You'll move through a progression of guided exercises — each one building on the last — with real people in the room. Everything is optional and consent-centered. You're always in choice.

Arrive — actually

Before anything else, we get you out of your head and into your body. Breath, movement, easy eye contact. Because spark can't happen when you're rehearsing your next sentence.

Learn what creates charge

The difference between nervous energy and grounded presence. Between friendly and flirty. Between talking at someone and actually being felt by them. Simple idea, big shift.

Discover your flirting style

Research shows five distinct flirting styles — and a lot of missed connection happens because people are speaking different dialects. You'll find yours, understand how it lands, and learn to send signals people can actually feel.

Practice the moves

Specific noticing. Playful tension. How to initiate without it feeling aggressive. How to slow down and let anticipation build. How to read what's coming back at you. Live, in pairs, in rotation — until it starts to feel like yours.

Go somewhere real

Once there's ease and a little charge in the room, guided prompts that move the conversation from surface to something that actually means something. This is what separates a memorable interaction from another forgettable one.

Let it happen

Less structure. More freedom. You bring everything — presence, playfulness, warmth, a little edge — and see what unfolds. This is where the magic tends to show up.

You might leave with a spark. You'll definitely leave knowing how to create one.

This is for you if...

  • You're getting dates off apps but they keep going nowhere

  • You freeze up, overthink, or don't know how to turn up the heat without it feeling awkward

  • You want to meet people in person — in a space that's actually designed for real connection

  • You're shy or introverted (quieter people often leave the most magnetic)

  • You're tired of mixers, speed dating, and events that feel transactional

This is not for you if...

  • You're looking for pickup lines or manipulation tactics — this isn't that

  • You want to observe rather than participate — this workshop is fully experiential

About Me

Most of my work is with couples — people who were once electric together and lost the thread. What I've learned after years of this work is that the thing that restores desire in a long relationship is the same thing that ignites it in the first place: the willingness to be genuinely present with another person.

Spark brings that work to singles. Not as therapy. Not as a self-help seminar. As a live, embodied, slightly-charged experience where you actually get to practice being the person you want to be on a date — and feel the difference in real time.

I'm not here to teach you tricks. I'm here to help you get out of your own way, understand what actually creates attraction, and leave with skills that feel like you — just more present, more playful, and a little more alive.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Not exactly. The focus is on learning and practicing the skills that create real connection — presence, specific attention, playful tension, reading signals. That said, sparks absolutely happen. Many people leave with a phone number. Some leave with something that surprises them. Everyone leaves feeling something they didn't before.

  • Yes — wholeheartedly. This is a queer-affirming, body-positive, and inclusive space. You are welcome exactly as you are.

  • Nope! No prior experience with relational work, somatics, or events like this is needed. Just bring your curiosity and willingness to show up authentically.

  • No. All partnering is gender-neutral. You're encouraged to be open and curious with everyone — regardless of gender identity, orientation, or attraction — in the spirit of human-to-human connection.

  • Yes — and here's the thing: quieter, more attentive people often come across as the most magnetic in this kind of space. You'll be guided through everything. Nothing is forced. You're always in choice.

  • Consent is woven into every exercise. You can opt out of anything, adjust any invitation to fit your comfort, or simply pass. That choice is always respected — and never makes things weird.
